# Idan Avioz — Portfolio > Electronics · IoT · Embedded Systems. Designing, building, and testing hardware from the ground up. Every project here was soldered, debugged, and brought to life by hand. I am an Electrical Engineering and Physics student drawn to the point where electronics meet the physical world. Every project here was physically built and tested, from soldering components and wiring circuits to tracing faults on the bench. I believe the best way to understand a system is to build it from scratch, fail, and iterate until it works. ## Projects (6, newest first) ### 1. AI Voice Assistant — ESP32-S3 Device with Display & Hebrew UI - Category: Embedded AI - Summary: Built a standalone push-to-talk AI voice assistant around an ESP32-S3 with a 2.4" color display: it records speech through an I²S microphone, sends it through a cloud speech-to-text → LLM → text-to-speech pipeline, and answers aloud in Hebrew or English while an animated chat interface shows the conversation in right-to-left Hebrew.
